Roof Trim & Fascias
Do you feel like your home needs a facelift? Consider investing in our high-quality fascias and roof trims. Available in a range of styles and colours we will help you find the perfect fit for your home.
Facias are attached as boards to the bottom edge of your roof, including a porch or conservatory. They offer a range of benefits to your home such as providing support to your roof, stopping moisture entering your rafters and providing a solid base to fix guttering onto.
A roof trim will follow the length of your home, protecting your roof from moisture and providing a new look to your home. There are many different finishes and colours you could choose from to give your house a totally new look.
We make our fascias and roof trim to bespoke measurements for your house to ensure a perfect fit, making sure your home performs and looks its best. You can choose from dark, light or even bright colours for our room trim and fascias.

What is a fascia?
Although you may not know the name, you’ll probably have seen fascias before; they’re a wooden or PVCu board that runs along the roofline of your home. It serves two functions; one, to add an elegant finishing touch to your home, and two, to serve a practical purpose. A fascia holds gutters in place and provides support to roof tiles, helping avoid moisture and damp from entering your home. If your fascias are looking old – wooden ones often get damp and rot if not properly cared for – or you want to install some fascia to hide your guttering, contact us today to find out more.
What does roof trim include?
The term roof trim doesn’t just refer to one product, but rather a variety of different – but related – items. Fascias, soffits, cladding, guttering and downpipes are all included in the catch-all term of roof trim. In general, all these products protect the edges of your roof and provide support for your guttering while also giving a clean, elegant finish. Installing roof trim on your property ensures that you avoid damp and moisture from getting into your roof, which in turn could lead to degradation of your property structure. If you’re not sure whether your home needs a roof trim upgrade, then contact us today to find out more.
What is the difference between bargeboard, soffit and fascias?
Although they are all related, each one has a slightly different function.
Fascias run along the edge of the roof, supporting the lower layer of tiles on one side, and holding up the guttering on the other. They run perpendicular to the ground and are held up by soffits, which run parallel to the floor and connect the fascia to the wall of your home. You’ll find the barge board at the front and end of your house, and follows the triangular shape of the gable end. Having matching fascia, soffits and bargeboards can give your home a stylish and elegant feel.
How long do roof trim and fascias last?
They can last for years depending on the material they are made from. Many older properties have roof trim made from painted wood, and although this looks good for a short time, it is easy for damp to get in, causing them to warp and deteriorate. We like to install PVCu roof trim, which lasts a lot longer and requires very little maintenance. With the wide variety of finishes available for PVCu, you can get roof trim in any colour you like, or even with a wood finish for a traditional look.
